I have observed a growing wave of alarm and unrest as I read the comment section of many diaries. The most prevalent feeling is the sense of impotence we are experiencing in the face of our rising awareness of the brutality and authoritarianism of this current regime, as well as the seeming complicity of our democratic "majority" in the dismantling of our civil liberties.
