NYT: McSame's Campaign = "Low Road Express"

Wed Jul 30, 2008 at 03:07:06 AM PDT

From today's New York Times OpEd pages, the Editorial comes down hard and heavy on McSame's Bushit campaign tactics. (I scanned for a diary on this that might have already hit and didn't find one.)

It really is a heartening to see the WaPo and the Times develop a little journalistic backbone and stand up for the truth here - taking on the McSame and his campaign for singing their songs from the Karl Rove Bullshit Political Songbook after spending the late spring claiming he was going to take the high road in this campaign. More after the flip.

The President is "W"rong!

What follows is a missive I launched today to all the cable and network talking heads and editors, as well as the editorials staffs at PBS, NPR, Reuters, AP, New York Times, Washington Post, LA Times, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Boston Globe, Manchester (NH) Union-Leader, Concord (NH) Monitor, Patriot Ledger, and Atlantic Monthly.

I know it's too long to make it as an editorial; hell it may even be too long for them to pay attention to, but I really, really had a lot of baggage to unload about how pathetically badly Shrub has pursued his "war on terror" - particularly around the criminally negligent behavior at al-QaQaa and the war crime of having overseen the elimination of 100,000 Iraqis from the face of the Earth.

Thanks in advance for your patience in reading this and for the daily dose of sanity I get from the DailyKos.  2.5 days to go to victory - let's roll!

How does this tripe get published in the WSJ, of all places?
