Tue Aug 07, 2007 at 06:25:51 PM PDT

I went as a volunteer for Edwards, I handed David Bonoir a personal check for $2,000. I left wishing I had given it to Kucinich.

buy my f@$#%in yearlyKos ticket, Kos

Wed Jul 25, 2007 at 10:35:05 PM PDT

was that catchy? I've seen it lots of time before, so I figure it must be.
but maybe it's worn out. Anyhoo- I got a registration and yearlyKos has provided the means to transfer the badges, since they are unable to refund the money; and I can no longer go.

what have the democrats done for you lately?

Thu Sep 29, 2005 at 07:21:26 AM PDT

have they opposed the continuing Iraq war?
have they opposed the bankruptcy bill?
have they opposed John Roberts?
have they opposed the carpet bagging of New Orleans?
have they stood up for labor?
the enviroment?
women's and minorities' rights
I've been a hardcore democrat for the past 20+ years, but I'm starting to wonder if it isn't time for a party that represents what I believe the democratic party used to stand for, before they got in bed w/ managaement.

Beinart out of PNAC Closet

Sat Jan 29, 2005 at 10:01:35 AM PDT

I knew Peter Beinart was a schmutz, but I didn't know how bad. In a letter to congressional leaders yesterday, Beinart joined with members of the Project for a New American Century (those wonderful folks who brought us thus far into FUBAR Iraq), in calling for an increase of troop recruitment of 25,000 annually. Ya know, you just can't have a "generational commitment" w/o an estimated call up of 250,000 in five years.

set up bat for asia aid?

(this is my first diary, so be gentle)
I was wondering about the blogosphere's ability to raise funds for tsunami relief as it did for the election. seems like a great way to gain exposure and possibly some clout, plus it's the right thing to do.
