Clueless in Silicon Valley

According to reliable sources (you really need want me to post the links?), Bush is one of the most unpopular presidents in our HISTORY.  Remember this please, in our HISTORY.

So, what do you do if you are the GOP in Silicon Valley?  Well, you highlight McCain on your website, as you should, and that is really no big deal.  But......given the choice, do you REALLY REALLY want to remind the voting public that McCain is, ummmmmm, Bush II?

Evidently, the Silicon Valley GOP thinks it is a GOOD thing to tie McCain to Bush, as evidenced by this picture on their front page:

And the reason for pointing this out.....well, think about this for a moment.  The GOP is clueless, yes, clueless, about McCain and his "ties" to Bush.  And that is a good thing.

McCain is running commercials all over the country, I saw one today about how he is going to be so good at 3 am for the economy (at first I thought it was a joke), and well, given the state of the economy, given who McCain is, who he is aligned with, who would you trust, him?  Obama?  Clinton? (this diary isn't a Obama vs Clinton, it is a DEMOCRAT vs McCain, please try to focus your comments on this point, pretty please ; )

Now, the national GOP may realize that connecting McCain to Bush isn't such a great idea, but hundreds of local GOP organizations aren't going to "get it" and will prominently feature....both Bush and McCain....doing SOME of our work for us.  The local GOP's will do this because...they are CLUELESS, because they think that they will keep their base (they won't) and they SURE as hell are NOT going to gain "independents" by reminding those voters how close McCain and Bush are.

The rank and file GOP is clueless, they will go on promoting Bush and McCain, and we, the Democrats, will benefit from this.  

We must come together no matter what, we MUST beat McCain, and while I am an Obama supporter, I will not only support, I will campaign, for our Democratic Presidential candidate with my whole heart and soul, because another four years of Bush will put the final nail in this country.

And........I have some "insider" information on what really happened at the CA convention with the superdelegates and Clinton...am waiting for someone to email me the story so I can post it....in their words...they were there.  Stay tuned ; )
