Pissed at Russ? Yell Louder...

Ladies and gentlemen, we have been told. It was no accident that Sen. Feingold graced us with a diary today (I'll explain in a moment).

You see, we have been stirring up trouble in these parts. It should be obvious to everyone that the calls for impeachment, on this site, have grown steadily over the past few weeks with no signs of letting up. There are some here that were once against impeachment that are now squarely for it. We have begun to yell at them (Congresscritters), and they can hear us.

Congress has a few choices:

1. Impeach Bush, Cheney, Gonzales, etc... now.

2. Let Bush, Cheney, Gonzales, etc... fall into some well laid trap, and impeach them later.

3. Do nothing, weather the storm from the left, let the administration hang themselves thus ensuring electoral victory in '08.

Which has Nancy, Harry and Co. chosen? Not sure, but I am sure it is NOT option 1.

So here we sit... screaming our collective heads off for impeachment, and we keep getting rebuffed. Nancy ("off the table"), now Russ (waste of time).

Earlier I mentioned that it was no accident that Sen. Feingold posted a diary on impeachment. You see, they (Congressional leadership) want us to fall in line with their plans, they want us to have faith in them that they will do the right thing... the problem is, if they have decided that option 3 is "the right thing", they are wrong. I fully support options 1+2, but option 3 sucks major ass.

So they send a friendly face into the hornet's nest (somebody well respected here) to quiet us down. They threw talking points at us, and they hope we will give up and go away.

You see, it is not a matter of opinion, if this administration is not impeached for their many crimes, their crimes will become the de facto law of the land for generations to come. I have repeatedly used the year 2108 as an example. Lately, I have been asking my representatives an impossible question: Can you guarantee us (The American People) that in the year 2108, the President elected will NOT use the same methods of governing as this administration? There can be no guarantee without repudiation, without impeachment.

So this leads us to our options:

1. STFU and accept that this administration's crimes will go unpunished.

2. In the words of the great buhdydharma: Yell Louder!

Now is NOT the time to give up, now is NOT the time to STFU. If they actually think that sending Russ over here to "tell us how it is going to be", they are sadly mistaken. It is our job to tell THEM how it is going to be, not the other way around. We the People are pissed. We have seen enough, and we will not stand idly by and watch our country go down in flames for political expediency.

These problems will not go away with the next election cycle, they will stain us for generations.

Our choice is clear... YELL LOUDER!
